Screed testing.
We have experience in testing sand/cement, cementitious flowing and anhydrite-based screeds. For flowing screeds, we can conduct on site flow tests and sampling, we prefer to leave the samples on site for collection the next day before being cured in the correct non-immersed environment.
Sand cement screeds can be collected from site and moulded back at the laboratory where the density can be assessed, the moisture content determined and cured correctly.
Flowing screed samples are produced in 160 x 40 x 40mm prisms so a flexural strength as well as a compressive strength can be determined, and sand/cement screeds can be produced as either prisms or 50 x 50 x 50mm cubes.
